Cosmetic Acupuncture

  Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture, Facial Acupuncture, is a painless, non-surgical method of reducing signs of ageing, especially on the face.

Cosmetic acupuncture is sometimes referred to as an acupuncture facelift, it is more than a cosmetic procedure.

Cosmetic acupuncture is based on the same principles of oriental medicine as traditional acupuncture, and involves the insertion of very fine needles into particular areas of the face, ears, neck, hands, trunk, and legs.

The Chinese discovered that many acupuncture channels begin or end on the face while some have internal branches that go to the face, and cosmetic acupuncture utilises these channels, both on the face, and elsewhere on the body. Practitioners of cosmetic acupuncture work to benefit the face while treating underlying factors that contribute to the ageing process.
